DIY DEODORANT // no baking soda

Deodorants are always in the headlines for being linked to chronic illnesses, so making my own was a no-brainer. Also my underarms used to be VERY discolored due to all the chemicals in mass-produced deodorant sprays. Here are some links to articles going into more detail on WHY deodorants aren't the best for our health: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20484832

INGREDIENTS: 1.5 tbsp beeswax pellets 1 tbsp coconut oil 1 tbsp shea butter 8 drops lavender essential oil 4 drops sandalwood

4 drops lemongrass Large deodorant stick (like this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07Q38B8YS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) OR a small glass jar METHOD: Fill up a small sized pot with 2-4 cups water, bring it to a boil and reduce heat Place a large bowl over the pot ready to double boil the ingredients Add in the beeswax, coconut oil and shea butter Allow them to melt together and combine Add in the essential oils and take off the heat Pour the mixture into your empty deodorant stick or glass jar (FYI this must be done quickly because the deodorant solidifies once it cools down) Please watch the video for more details of this recipe:
