RECIPE: an actual tasty salad

Ok boo boo's we all know that the sole purpose of this blog is to help us all get into the kitchen and start cooking HEALTHY, HIGHER VIBRATIONAL FOOD! And a great example of higher vibrational food is RAW foods. Meaning sun fired foods from mother earth that haven't been cooked (so the enzymes are still alive and fill our cells up with untouched nutrients straight from source. IT'S BEAUTIFUL!)

Raw salads are GREAT to incorporate into your diet but lets face it, they don't spark any kind of excitement. The typical connotations of a salad = boring, tasteless, not filling. We about to change that doe. Here is my recipe for AN ACTUAL TASTY SALAD (written method and video are below)


- Kale
- Apple cider vinegar

- Apple
- Cucumber
- 1 lemon
- Balsamic vinegar
- Honey (or sweetener of your choice)
- Olives
- Walnuts, cashews, almonds (+any other nuts/seeds of your choice)

1. Rip the kale leaves off the stem and tear the leaves into bite sized bits

2. Fill up a bowl with water and apple cider vinegar. Dunk the kale into the bowl (make sure the water covers the kale) and leave it to soak for around 10-15 minutes. This ensures the kale is properly cleaned
3. As you wait for the kale to soak, cut up the cucumber and apple
4. Drain the water from the kale, squeeze a lemon over the leaves and massage the juice in.
5. Add 1-2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and massage again
6. Sprinkle pink salt and add sweetener of your choice; I typically use honey or maple syrup
7. At this stage, taste the kale. If you need to adjust the seasoning, do it now (e.g. add more maple syrup or more lemon etc. You get the idea)
8. In a bowl, place the kale leaves at the bottom and add the apple, cucumber, olives, nuts and seeds

Proof that some good seasoning and some simple flavour combinations can create yummy SALADS! Super simple, super healthy and super tasty :)
